Pre-War Singles Silencer

I don't know if you know any of the following, but I thought I should post it any-way. This silencer was designed by Edgar Franks for the 1938 range but was not well received by most and mockingly called " the cows udder". By the following year the normal barrel type silencer was re-instated. The bike you refer to in the picture is older than 1938 so wouldn't have been fitted with it from new. I am not aware of anyone making them but I would guess someone like Armours would make them if there was enough demand but that would probably be a quantity of 200+ to make it worthwhile.
