warning of more email scams !

Hello please have a look on the FBHVC website They warn us all that an email scam is going around on speeding fines or parking fines. If you click the email link, it automaticallygoesinto a phishing site that demands your bank details.

Crankcase joint

Hello All,

When I split the crankcase on the navigator I notice it had a paper joint. I have never seen this on a crankcase joint before and do not seem to be able to buy one--has anyone else had thoughts on this?

If I recall; - a few years ago, there was an instructive article in the Roadholder magazine about timing a PW3 cam.

Unfortunately, I have lost my copy and cannot remember the issue number.

Pressure relief (oil).

Can someone please tell me why I should buy a SRM stainlessoil pressure relief valve instead of just fitting my old faithful one back in with a new spring. At £50 and more it seems a lot of money for something shiny.

I seem to remember advice on here saying it was not a good idea to kickstart a Commando whilst on the centre stand, though a search didn't find it. Can anyone confirm that this is not good practice?

Hello all

I'm a long term subscriber to Motorcycle Sport & Leisure (or port and lemon as I believe it is also known). Increasingly I find less and less to read in this although I do enjoy some of the regulars.

Fuel

Well like a prat I have left my ES2 for Months. Stacks (gallons) of fuel in it. The Com I start every ten days or so to stop it Sumping. I just couldn't be arsed to fight with all the junk in the garage.
