AGM Motorcycle Parking (Pt. 2.)

Does anybody know if we can park a bike at the front of the Transport museum on Sunday or have we got to use a car park ?

Hello well from reading the PDF it looks like it's the car park around the back somewhere, the cars across the road in a multicar park of sorts. the AGM would have been better of at the railway museum York they have their own parking and you can see all then lovely steam engines yours anna j

Hi Tony

The Coventry Transport Museum were very open to us lining up the bikes on the front plaza in Millennium Place but circumstances are perhaps a bit different this time?

Most if not all of us will be insde the Museum at the AGM and won't have the opportunity to keep an eye on the bikes so we decided against having a display?

Not only is there a large public car park directly behind the museum, but we're arranging for those concerned about security that they will be able to park their bikes inside the museum rear gates.

For those coming by car - the public car park will cost only £1.00 for all day parking.

Anna - as for the York Railway Museum - I loved it when we used it a few years ago, but not only is it far less central, it was three times the price!

Peter
