Stamped on the left hand side of the cross bar, under the petrol tank, near the headstock of a 1952 ES2 there are five numbers.
A member has come forward to have a pair of Manxman silencers fabricated. These will take about a month to complete. Dave has a pair of genuine Manxman exhaust pipes and these have been delivered to the fabricators.

The club video talks of centre punching the nuts when re-assembling the crankshaft. Clearly this does not apply to the inner nuts with the tab.
My 1951 ES2 began to suffer from very bad clutch drag. On examining the action of the clutch worm I noticed that even in the optimum position the lever only rotates the worm towards the clutch over a distance of about 1/8".
Is anyone else unable to see the NOC spares lists?
All I see for 'Light Twins' and 'Commando' are the layout for headings and sections - no parts details within a section.

Need to replace speedo drive in the rear wheel. The damaged existing is marked 2:1 (previously fitted with incorrect chronometric clocks) an equally damaged unit in the box of bits is marked 19:10.

So after curing the oil loss with a new composite head gasket and some high temperature sealant the first longer ride on my Navigator was half a success! I made it to the British Bike Meeting in Salem, some 25km away from my home but not back.

My -59 frame has two small tabs near the steering head. According to one racer, they should have been added after it left Bracebridge street. According to an experienced mechanic they were fitted to -59 frames but never used for anything.
