Hi restoring a 74 850. Barrels are in good nick and paint is good except for a few minor spots where paint is missing. Rather than have them blasted and re painted can anyone recommend a paint that can be used to ouch up the affected areas?

PJ1 Fast Black
Previously someone recommended PJ1 Fast Black, which I tried on my 650 barrels and am still pleased with the result after 1 year. It comes in a 400ml spray can and is good for 500 C and is specially for engines and cases.

Visit a woodstove shop, and get a spray can (matt, or satin). If I forgot to close the air vents, my woodstove would occasionally get cherry red, but when it cooled was still black!
