I need a regulator for my 1957 99 any ideas of a part no or type?thanks Barry
I have brought a Norton for which the Logbook states: Norton-600cc-Registered 1980-Declared Manufactured 1960.
Is there or has there ever been a Norton Registry? I am thinking along the lines of Each particular machine belonging to a group, say Manx Norton Registry, then year, model etc. Certainly for the rarer models at least.
I have a 1959 Norton Jubilee. Hopefully I will have it on the road soon.
Does anyone know of a handlebar mounted speedo other than CNW expensive one ? also has anyone fitted a Brembo 13mm master cylinder and where could i source one in the Uk
I have a 1974 850 Commando fitted with a single 36mm Mikuni. It is has the stronger return spring fitted. Earlier this summer, I was at the Dijon circuit for the classic bike track sessions.
I'm new to Commandos as I only bought a 1970 750cc this year. The bike has only done 3,500 miles now but wet sumping is an issue. It wetsumps much worse than the 650SS I have ridden for the last 30 years and also much worse than my 1952 ES-2.
Can anyone tell me what the speedo cable length is supposed to be for my 1961 Model 50?
The correct part number is: 19367
A 69" cable is way too long.
Thanks
Mike
Does anybody know where I can get a set of screws for the timing covers and primary chaincase? Cheers,Mick.
Some timeago I put Mk3 isolastic conversionson my Mk1 850. The bike seems to have more vibration at low revs than with the original type.
im looking for a right hand side tank badge for a slimline petrol tank and would apprieciate anyone who could source one or a pair if nessacery.
I recently bought from RGMa muffler (silencer) for my Slimline Model 50.
I ordered pn: 22121 which is the correct number from the parts book.
Over the 40+ years Iâve been pulling engines apart I have amassed quite a few pullers.
My Commando has developed a misfire sometimes at low revs, and runs fineup to 4k where it refuses to rev beyond that.
Hi
Used to be a member years ago, had a MK 111, stupidly sold it 5 years ago.
I'm getting another Mk 111 in a few weeks, the engine and gearbox will need a rebuild, any recommendations chaps?
