Does anyone know what thread the bolts/studs are that fix the rear engine/gearbox plates to the frame on a 1954 Model 7.There are 2 of them.They fix to large threaded lugs .They look to be about 3/8, maybe cycle thread??
I am rebuilding a 1946mod18 and would like to ask if any one out thereknows what type of seals are used at the bottom of the pushrod tubes.

I put an ad on the Classified web bit about mudguards for a 1955 Inter.
Very quickly I recieved an e-mail from a supposed Brit from London ( I say supposed as his english was very bad but understandable)
MKIII 850 1977 with RGM mainfold,Amal MK2 and KN filter.
I would like to replace my atlas chain driven primary drive with a belt drive. Is this possible? And if so any sugestions

Hello, I am hoping someone might have some ideas on howI canstop my 1961 Navigator from leaking oil. The main problems are the oil seals either side of the engine sprocket - the one behind the clutch and the one behind the gearbox.
Please can anyone advise which cams are which by the markings on the end lobe ??

I require a Timing Cover for a 1953 Model 7 or similar. It needs to be the type that has the "Patent badge" rather than the round Norton badge. Condition of badge is unimportant.

I'm replacing the swing arm bearings on my 88 and have just got the new silent blocs and spindle through the post: anyone got any comments on why the spindle is such a loose fit?
I'm still getting to know my Commando so forgive the maybe dumb sounding question!When starting, which it will normally on about 3-4 kicks, the bike runs pretty rough for about 5 miles.

I'm a new Norton Commando owner in the U.S.and the Riders manual calls for Lockheed Series 329 Brake fluid. I was wondering is it equivilant to DOT3 or 4. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I installed my Sparx 3-phase alternator and Sparx ignition, with jumpers from two of the three yellow regulator wires connected separately to the W terminals on the "assimilator," or ignition warning lamp unit.
