Hi, does anyone know if front brake shoes for a front left hand side brake are the same or differ from shoes for a right hand front brake and do front brakes with a speedo drive have a different shoes. I have some shoes from a right hand front backplate with a speedo drive and if fitted to a left hand side backplate the shoe will not clear the speedo drive gear although the parts books indicate similar shoes. I also presume a 16h and early Inter with l/h brake share similar parts other than possibly the lining grade? Lastly I have two speedo drive gears one with 14 teeth and one with 13, however the hub drive gears both have a similar number of teeh and both wheels had 21" rims.... hum
