CS1 panel tank

Help Help!!!! I am just completing the restoration of a 1938 Norton CS1. I am having to have a panel type tank manufactured for the bike as it came with no tank. I desperatly need some photos of the underside of a panel type tank.

NOC events

I'm looking for some runs to do this year and was wondering what the NOC has to offer? I'm looking for predominantly riding rather than showing the bikes. Would the National Rally in Norfolk work for this?

After meny years away from Motor Cycles I have just started to re`build a norton twin, from the wheels up, I used to re`line the brake shoes myself, but now can only seem to find ready made bonded shoes, can you still buy brake linings & rivet

Commando wheel bearings

Hi Im restoring a 71 commando with a drum brake front and both the workshop and parts manual show a double row bearing in the drum with the same part number as the rear.The problem is mine never had one and I cant see where it would fit.Did Norton

More on oil pumps?

I have a number of spare Nortonoil pumps which I assume are all for heavy twins? but when you compare the hole ports some have only holes, some have slots and holes and some have a hole with long and short slots. what models are they for?

Frame number confusion

I recently bought a 1936 Norton ES2 in need of a complete restoration. According to the origional service book, and the later log book from 1961 the engine number is 70372, and the frame number is 70435.

I have a data sheet from the NOC showing various details of my Model 18. I have two numbers stamped on my frame one on the upper frame lug and one on the down tube tank lug.
