Hi All Need some advice from anyonethat can get their head around electricals. My indicators, although working perfectly, are not wired up the way I am used to, that is switchup for right and down for left. It is currently the reverse of this.

I have had problems with my exhaust keep coming loose and noticed the threads are worn on on side. Could anyone comment who they have used for repacements and roughly how much it costs to get them redone.

I have a problem with the lengths of the swinging arm spindle and the stud fitted a few inches above it, both stainless. They both seem slightly too short as they use only about 2/3 of the available thread in the nuts.

Can anybody tell me what torque should be used on the clutch retaining nut as well as the shouldered nut that retains the rotor and front engine sprocket.

I'm a new owner with a 1954 Norton big 4 with a swing arm suspension. I am going to be learning about the bike and Nortons in general for a ling time I see. My question today is this. My bike had only the left knee pad when I purchased it.

Any idea how old this is? I got this with a BSA Rocket 3 - No rude comments please!

I know we have discussed mudguards from India - not drilled, no cable clips and no strengthening plates - but has anybody bought one? If so are they a good fit and the proper profile for slimline bikes?

I have seen a couple of original cylinder heads from both 650SS and Atlas that have steel sleeves fitted into the inlet ports. Does anyone know the purpose of these? I think I read somewhere that they helped with cold starting.

Hi All - I've had commandos for many years and never come up against this one....

I find the headlight on my commando awful, the bean deflection hardly changes between dipped and main it's just on is slightly dimmer. I have replaced the original with a quadoptic but its still poor.

I took my recently acquitted 1956 ES2 out for a short spin last week and was concerned to find quite a pool of oil underneath after I got back. Only had a look underneath today and found the level plug missing! That'll be it then.
