Dominator dynamo drive wheel

Forums
I notice that the teeth on the fibre/Bakelite drive wheel on my Dominator camshaft are gradually wearing down, I.e, significant visible wear after circa 4,000 miles. My main concern here is that the worn material/oil mix goo will potentially impede and ultimately block some of the oil ways. My recollection is that the original ones of these were metallic hence the need for the slipping clutch but cannot find any from any of the usual sources. Can anyone suggest where I might get one of these in metal? Thanks and regards

Hi Jon,

Eugene Brolund added a piece about this back in September. Apparently Norvil stock all the bits you will need. It's in the heavy twinssection of themessages, last entry 7th October (about 4 pages back at the moment).

Hope this helps,

George.

Thanks George, that's been a great help. It's in the 'Charging System' section at Norvil
