My recently purchased m50 appears rather slow compared to the one I had in 1977.

I appreciate that time plays tricks with the mind plus I am porkier than I was then,however I am disappointed with the 46mph cruise.

Tyre lube

I was more than a little annoyed to find that despite using a tyre lubricant to fit my most recent tyre, that in only about 3 months it had started to corrode the alloy rim onto the rubber. It put up a very good fight to break the bead.

Iam currently rebuilding a 1956 Dominator 99 and I find I have a mixture of push rods in the engine. Should they be all steel or aluminium and what lenght should they be ?
