Geoffrey Myers Classic Norton Parts

Geoffrey Myers Classic Motorcycles - anyone know anything about this company? Bought some parts online on the 14th November for which I received an acknowledgment. But despite numerous phone calls and emails I've not heard nor received anything.

Geoff Myers so very sadly passed away on the 24th November 2015. I have asked for this to be posted onto the main NOC's web site as soon as it had happened but so far it has not been done. I asked for this to be done as soon I was informed. The funeral will be held at Eastbourne crematorium on the 9th December at 1pm. His wife is trying to deal with the full out, and she informed me that Geoff had received over 600 emails. Geoff dealt with all the motorcycle business, so his wife is trying to deal with it all. There has been a message posted ontohis web site to inform every one of these very tragic circumstances. I added a note to the Jampot web site to inform all the members of the AJS & Matchless owners of what had transpired.

That's sad news. As far as I was concerned, he was one of the very small number of honest traders in the Brit bike world.

Sad indeed. I have sent an email suggesting she abandons the order, I do not need a credit. At least I know.

Geoff was always good to deal with. One of the old school who knew his stuff. Kempton jumbles won't be the same without him. He'll be missed.

He will very greatly missed by us all, as his like we will not see again, and his knowledge of the Norton and AMC product rangewas immense. His type of know how can not be easily replaced, and with his passing we have lost some one with industry experience that was there dealing with the factories when these bikes were being built from new.
