Going through the huge list of things to do on my none runner. Clutch completely stuck so cleaned all the gunk from the housing and inspected the plates. The fiber plates look pretty wrecked.
The motoring community seems to be gradually waking up to the fact that Brexit will mean the return of those classic motoring experiences of applying for International Driving Permits (three types, although European excursions should require two a

Are you the owner of LLR45K?
If so the first owner has given me a "motor fuel ration book" that was issued in the day for your bike. I can see it is still out there by dvla. So if it is you let me know and I will post it out to you.

I'm considering electronic ignition and a 12v conversion for my Navigator. I have looked at both the Pazon and Boyer Bransden systems and both look very similar apart from the price and the Pazon seems to continue working at a lower voltage.
I've been slowly sorting through my boxes of bits for my Jubilee. I have a frame (together) and a set of forks in bits. It would appear that the steering pin? and bearings are missing to fit the frame to the forks.

I have recently acquired a Norton Jubilee in bits with no V5. I am missing a few obvious parts but i think the bike is about 75% all there. I do have a registration plate, 900 DOW, and have contacted the DVLA reference this number.
Having found my advance retard mechanism unsurprisingly very worn I am researching electronic ignition and 12 v conversion. Having read many threads on this and Al Osborn's sage advice I am pretty comfortable with how to go about it.

Should the footrest hangers and rear brake pedal on my 1952 ES2 be chrome plated?
I see Norvil have these - any other sources anyone? It appears they're different from the various flavours of vertical cover boxes.
I am assembling a Lucas E3L dynamo from parts. I have a Lucas manual on them, but it doesn't show how to wire them up at the brush end.
After ten years I seem to have fallen out with my Commando buff over something seemingly trivial but not.
