Hello,
Going to strip my first Manx/Inter SOHC engine:
- Anything special I should take care of?
- Is there anything easier to do while engine in frame? Like taking valves springs off,
Is there a paper gasket between the mag. and the crankcase on the Dominator can't find any ref. to it in the manuals. Thanks, Campbell

Trying to pull the oil pump out, and heard that two 9/32 x 26 tpi screws would do it.
But is it BNC, BSF, BST, BSP, CEI, UNF ...?

Hi,
This is the first of two National rallies in 2019. This one is Under Canvas, details:-
Last year I was Given (freebe!) a handfull of sample bottles of ACF50. I use this on a rag to wipe over rims and silencer after wet rides . Not only has it stopped new rust appearing but appears to attack existing rust pits.
Just a few words of warning to forum members, I have recently had to return (at the sellers expence 4 orders which turned out to be "Not as described or defective" .I look very carefully at parts but am still decieved regularly.
Can anyone advise as to which is the correct 3 position light switch for a 57 dominator 99 (magneto ign) and should the headlight have the "D" type hole or the larger round hole for fitting the correct switch.

I missed out narrowly on buying a Jubilee Deluxe on ebay yesterday. It went for £252. The bike was local to me so it would have been a bargain.
Checking thro likely issues Its possible that a weak pressure release valve spring may be giving the timing side a hard time.
I saw in an earlier post that when using a new solid state rectifier in place of the big square one on anElectra that one connection goes to ground, the opposite corner connection receives current, and the other two corners are for AC.
I try and get to the yearly AGM whenever I can but think that the 2019 location is going to be a few miles too far for me this time.
