Is anyone else suddenly finding it impossible to browse to attach a picture? It's only just stopped working from my mobile phone. List of available actions does let me do it. I'll try on computer later.

AGM meeting venues

After reading that only 93 attended the last AGM meeting in Ellesmere I am a little surprised that the old argument of 'having it up country increases the attendance' Is really the case? where is the proof.

Having discussed the use of the 100/90-19 front and rear fitment of these with the UK importer and the fitting onto the WM2 standard rim it was soon cleared up that these would fit as they have been used for racing in this configuration.

Later Jubilee Red?

Has anyone got an idea of what is a close match for the later (64) Std Jubilee red colour please.  I’ve seen numerous different “reds” used but can’t tell what would have been close to what was used originally.

A2/33 Oil spacing ring.

On page 17 of the singles forum under crankcase assembly there are some excellent comments and photos regarding the aforementioned oil spacing ring. They are however contrary to the advice given in Mike Pembertons singles DVD.

Manx Frame

Hi. A friend of mine is building a cafe racer using a Manx frame. There are no identifying marks on the frame, he believes this was normal is that correct?

"New Comment" Count

Just a query on the above.  It seems to be a count of responses rather than "New" responses.  Anything the author writes is not added but contributors messages are summed, whether they are  new or not.

Model 18 Carb problem

Hi, bought a new 276 carb for my 1930 model 18 but cannot get it to tick over without the air screw screwed right in. Open it a crack and it spits back and stalls. Checked for blockage and and tried to clean air passage.

IOM John McGuinness

Well its sad news  the Norton gremlins  have struck again  as John McGuinness on a Norton V4RR  did one lap and lost its oil presser  So john was out of the Race sad  and devastating for him  , well there is alway another  year   yours  anna j
