I bought an Electronic Speedo with a GPS controller from AN. It was installed and road tested succesfully by the the mechanic who has fixed loafs of stuff on the old girl
On the day I was gonig to pick her up he called me to say that he had done a final test ride and found the speedo not working, He checked the GPS connections and then used a magnetic pick up from the real wheel and it still doesnt work.
Is there anyone out there who understands all this new fangled electronic malarkey? is there a programming or connection issue to look out for?
I am changing the speedo from the wavy hand original because I need a KPH speedo for moving the bike to France.
Cheers Nick

Hi Richard best policy is to know what speed you are doing in France! I wanted a Green Blob speedo to match the Tach. Bit disappointed to be having to send it back after just one brief outing,

Problem traced to the GPS unit. The speedo now does work using a magnetic pick up from the front wheel. Not as tidy as the GPS unit but at lest it works

It's a bit late now, but KPH speedos are around on this side of the water. Look on Le Bon Coin or similar. Do the French authorities check them ?
