Hi all,
i have had a gear box problem namely false neutrals between 2nd and 3rd and 3rd and4th occasionally. Rarely do any gears jump out once engaged! I have the gearbox on the bench in pieces. Upon close inspection a little wear is noticeable here and their although the selector forks appear to have more wear than anywhere else. I suspect the selectors but should I be looking elsewhere ? I do not want to overlook anything whilst the gearbox is apart!

The horizontal box is very positive, but unlike the AMC, does not have a ramp on the cam plate to push it into a gear position. You have to make sure you move the gear lever fully and completely. I hope I am not trying to teach grandma how to suck eggs....
