Someone please tell me how I can remove the slip ring from the contact breaker assembly. I have tried levering, I have tried freezing with a frozen broccoli to contract it away from the magneto body.and left it to soak in WD40.

please can any one help.  My mk3  Commando had no side stand when I bought her. I bought a new side stand kit from AN, however, I cannot see where the spring should attach to the frame/engine .

I'd appreciate some advice - once I have removed the steering stem nut and tab washer should the bottom yoke just tap down and off. I'm wanting to replace the headlight bracket (shroud) bottom 'O' rings.

On the back face of the drive side crankcase, there is a number - 99C 3724. Delved into the forums and it seems to be a factory production number.

I have managed to amass a collection of brake shoes  7" sls   8" sls  and   8" TLS .  I can even tell which is which at a glance   (thats a bit sad !).  I am curious as to why some new shoes come with steel slippers and some do not .  In the past
