Here I am again!
please can any one help. My mk3 Commando had no side stand when I bought her. I bought a new side stand kit from AN, however, I cannot see where the spring should attach to the frame/engine .
There seems to be a non standard crankcase bolt on there bottom of my crankcase which is an Allen head screw in the region I would expect a spring to attach.

While we are thinking side…
While we are thinking side stands, has anyone fitted a side stand to a slimline dommy on the OFF side?. As i have to kick start with the left leg then walk round the bike to get on ,the bike has normally conked out by the time I get there ! , Better to get on the RHS and still be in control of the throttle.

The spring attaches to a hole in the bottom centre of the frame cross tube (below engine, joining lower frame rails).
