One of my contacts in Bromley area has a 1959 99 under a tarp in his garden , alloy guards ,fairing ,not run for 10 years or more , not seen it. Looking for someone to restore to tidy working order for him to ride Any ideas?.

69 S code. Carbs were just loosely bolted onto the bike when I got it.
I have refitted and tightened the 2 manifolds with the heat insulators and they seem fine. I am assuming the manifolds are not handed
Can someone tell me the size of the screws that attach the Norton badge to the fuel tank. During rebuild have lost them, and can find nothing that fits.
I thought I would share my solution to not having a side stand on the Jubilee. I didn't fancy the ones that came off the front down tube.

The carburettor is an AMAL 389 with 30 idling jet, 3-1/2 slide, 106 needle jet and 270 main jet. Needle clip is in groove 3.

Does anyone know why the Norton race bikes after about 1932 or 1933 have no friction damper in the front forks? Inters retained the damper, just like all the other road bikes.

Oil changed, new plugs new battery new exhausts few blown bulbs replaced
