RGM folding kickstart
Has anyone out there any experience of using one of these?
- â Is it strong enough to put up with repeated use?
- â Does it fold away properly?
- â Does it 'unfold' sufficently to clear the silencer?
Has anyone out there any experience of using one of these?
Greetings from sunny Florida, I am considering the purchase over here of a genuine factory Dunstall 850 Commando cafe racer and I was wondering what other members' opinions of these
Hello, I have a Commando frame and would like to ensure that I have the right fork yokes to go with it unfortunately the VIN plate is missing.
Its 25 years since the last rebuilt, but it looks like it is time to strip down my 1972 Commando gear box.
I have the 72 750 Commando in bits and can detect some play in the gearbox cradle swinging arm pivot tube. My plan is to use an oversize spindle, ream the cradle and bushes.
Greetings from sunny Florida,
Does anyone have a spare lever to sell or for me to copy,I actually want two for the bigger 88/99 models but they are even rarer so whatever i can find. I will get 6 made as other owners are also needing one.

I have taken the fuel tank off my '48 ES2. Had enough problems from dissolving Petseal - its now been cleaned out with caustic soda and along with the other tins is ready for a respray.

Does anyone know where I can source a set of steering head races and ball bearings for a 1939 16H?
The set comprises 17 balls and two cups each for the top and bottom.

I love the picture of the plunger Inter currently showing on the web site. Can we have some details of the bike, please? Like year, is it a 500 or a 350, who owns it, who restored it, etc. etc.
On a Fastback rear light unit, is there a "cowl tail lamp" (part no. 060644, as fitted to the Roadster) fitted between the rear light and the fibreglass seat cowl? The parts list is not clear and that cowl puts the number plate raked forward.

Has anybody tried the Powerspark ignition system in an 18D2 distributor? It retains use of the bob weight assembly and is around £45 (which is attractive to me!)
I've been through all my manuals and searched extensively online, but I'm unable to find a definite figure for the cylinder head bolts. Would someone please enlighten my as to the correct torque, or tell me where to find the info.
Probably no problem in the UK, but, can anyone suggest a supplier for chromed wheel nuts for an early Dominator (pre full width hub). There are no auto-jumbles here in Spain.
I am looking for several bushings for the top & bottom eyelets on some shock absorbers. I have not been able to find a source for them. I need a set for a pair ofArmstrongs& a pair of Girlings.
Evening all and an early Happy New Year,
I have a 48 ES2 without a front mudguard. Do tech drawings exist for these kind of things and how do I convince someone to provide a copy?
Hi
Do you need to remove the clutch pushrod before using the clutch pulling tool?
Colin Appleyard, of Keighley, who has grown his Colin Appleyard Ltd motorcyle business into a multi-million pound company over 40 years, was awarded an MBE for his services to motorcyle sport.
I am a bit confused over what should be the correct length for the clutch rod for the Laydown box on my recently acquired 1956 Dommie99 as there seem to be conflicting references.
would anyone be able to run a ruler over the spacers that sit either side of the speedo drive on a dommie 88 and post the dimensions, thesearemissing on mybike and i should be able to turn some up. cheers from OZ
