I've recently rejoined the NOC because a twist of fate has happily resulted in my purchasing some singles (and I'm sure I will need help from time to time).

I probably sound mad but i have a 71 roadster with a rough cylinder head,as a quick fix would a 750 combat head with 32mm inlet ports, it has had some work done re angled valves and gas flowed (mick hemmings).
is there anyone around that supplies parts for these engine yet or tuning services?

Bike starts, idles( 900-1100 when warm) and runs fine, battery voltage when running is up near the 15v mark and drops to around 13-13.5 at idle so low voltage Boyer problems shouldn't be an issue.

I'm after a set of these distinctive levers? Does anyone know of a supplier of these is the UK? I know Ken McIntosh in New Zealand sells them but I haven't had any luck getting hold of him...
I'm from the states and never owned a British bike before but last week plunked down a substantial sum of money as a Reservation Fee for a black, 961 Commando Sport and I just can't begin to describe how excited I am to finally have the thing on o
A number of users have written, complaining about the behaviour of Benjamin Gradler on these message boards.Despite having been asked to moderate his messages, he has continued to post material of an inflammatory nature.
Very interesting article by Jame Whiting ... and rather sad.
Like many others, I have been infuriated by some of Ben Gradler's posts. However, it cannot be denied that he has a great deal of knowledge about Norton motorcycles. Many of his posts lately have been helpful, and reasonably polite.
Hi
I recently took the wheels for an N15CS for rebuilding. It was pointed out to me that the spokes on the front wheel were butted, whilst those on the rear wheel were not butted.
The date of first registration of my Dommie 99 is January 1956.

My understanding of inter oil leaks is that a big part of the problem is the build up of pressure in the cambox forcing oil out past the seals. Has anyone every tried putting a breather in the cambox with a 1 way valve to reduce this pressure?
I'm replacing the GRP Manx-style tank on my otherwise original 1957 Dommi 99 with an original steel tank.
