My 99 is registered as a 1960, it was however Manufactured in 1959 as confirmed by the club historian. I wonder if the DVLC will see it the same way as i do.
After 1970 the Fastback rear mudguard forward mount is a drop down plate from two holes in the crossplate at the back of the spine tube. Both my original (bent) frame and the new one do not have these holes.

I have a Mk II with a belt drive primary and have found gearbox oil has migrated up the clutch push rod and onto the clutch. So I have bought the RGM clutch nut with an oil seal, their part number 040373M.
Having rebored the cylinder and replaced the big end bearing on my ES2 I have received conflicting advice from friends regarding running in schedules,
Any advice would appreciated,
TIA
Ian
Hello again - Does anyone know if any of the 88SS models had the modified oil flow and return system like the later 650SS models? If so from which engine number was this done ?
Hi,
I have a 1961 Dommie 99 fitted with a twin leading shoe (Commando) front brake. The braking is good but not that great and I am considering fitting a RGM Front brake stiffening kit!
I have been missing the web site for the first part of the week. Thank you Chris Grimmett and whoever else got things up and running again. I did try to email you Chris, but the mail bounced, so I suspect the server was down.

We are rebuilding my ES2 engine, and a local well-respected engine guy, whilst checking the bore and piston advised that we should put a couple of o-rings on the valve stems when we reassemble.
Hello what size tyres should be fitted on my jubilee deluxe as standard, I have a 3.25 on the front but it had a 3.50 on the rear. Both are 18".

Hello
Might anyone have the following parts that would work with a 1949 16H.
Require a valve chest cover, part No. C2/70.
Aset of valve spring cups, part No. C2/147 Top (2) and A2/148 Bottom (2).
Many thanks
My tank has returned.. now to paint the side panels.
I have attached a photo that shows the remnants of a "silver" paint on the cases of the International I am restoring.
I have just received a package, of parts for rebuilding my gearbox. I have a query regarding the bronze spacer/thrust washer. The handbook states that this should have oil grooves on the bearing face. The spacer supplied has plain faces.
Has anyone used a valve stem seal that has a spring around the top? Looking on RGM and Norvil sites seem only to stock the normal VITON seals.
