I have a friend here in Devon who had a very, very nice 1958 Dominator 99 in the unusual blue colour.
Does any one have a drawing to show the front solo seat " J " brackets on a Mod7 plunger. Appears easy to have shop make up a pair if I had the dimensions or tracing.
Hi,
attachment shows what I think is a shell from an early Dominator. Help identifying would be much appreciated. Thanks Paul.

OBM arrived today, here in wet New Zealand. Noticed an article on the Marsh 4-cylinder and since I have a photo of it when it was being developed thought I'd dig it out.
It would be nice if this were possible; at present I sometimes find myself stuck between thinking "I wouldn't mind following that up" and worrying that if I do I'll be pestering someone about something they sorted ages ago.
For those of you who own an early Commando like me here is a conversion for the light/horn/ beam switch:I was lucky to find an original Wipac Triconsul switch whiich was originally mounted on my 1970 Commando. This switch is not produced as a repli
Afternoon folks.

Hello every one, I'm rebuilding a dommie 88 delux.

Can anyone point me to a source of dimensions for a 1953/4 bolt-up Featherbed frame?
Particularly for constructing a missing rear section, but all dimensions would be useful.
Hi all,
The rearof the petroltank on my Mercury, as purchased, was secured by a thick elastic band loopedover a small bracketat the bottom rear ofthe tank and looped under a bracket on the frame.
I would like to remove the cylinder head without removing the engine and gearbox from the frame. Is this possible as I can't seem to find any specific info on it, or am I wasting my time and need to remove the engine first?
I am about to fit an Alton starter kit. With everything removed one has good access to the LH crankcase seal. I read somewhere it is a simple job to replace it.
I'll try and attach a pic of a washer from somewhere in the MO1L magdyno I'm attempting to rebuild.

Hi All, I'm presently building a 72 Commando with a standard front disc brake. I have two discs to choose from, an original that looks OK and a new disc I bought 11 years ago. I checked the original disc for true and it has .008" run-out.
Hi All,
I have a number of old photos' of my Father with his Norton Inter's & a Manx. The photo's are post war but the Inter's could be a mix of Pre & Post up to 1954?
Hello there,
Ebay really is an interesting place to find unusual models. It seems to be getting worse
There's a 'Navigator' for sale but it seems to be a VERY special one-off;
As part of our on going 88 engine rebuild ,removing main bearings was next on the list .
Hello,
After a thirty year lay up ,(in pieces) I am putting my 16h back together. It is a rigid with tele forks.
My question is what would be the best tyres to fit and what would the sizes be?
Thanks
Roadholder is an excellent source for information about all matters Norton and I greatly appreciate the efforts to provide an index and load back-copies.
