I have a gerbing heated jacket which is wired up to the battery and works , although a bit optomistic with a 1960 12v 99 and RM15?

Sorry guys - another daft question. How on earth do I remove the advance/retard cable from the contact breaker body? It's a Lucas face cam type breaker where the plate is moved by the cable/nipple.

Hi Guys, I've found why there is a constant oil mist round the top of the engine. One of the rocker box retaining studs has shed its threads in the alloy head (55 ES2). It's the centre front one at the rear of the exhaust valve.
Hi Guys - finally getting round to curing the excess of oil in the mag drive casing by replacing the inlet camshaft bush.
My 1951 ES2 is currently in pieces as I sort our various "issues"
My mechanic friend has advised me that I need new valves and valve seats on the exhaust side and fortunately the NOC has stock

62 slimline...alternator test as per Al O has failed....the 3 wire stator LU47122A looks pretty rough (I think RM15) and the rotor LU466177 must be about 50 yrs old and is the 70mm size.
