Before I get stuck into making a new set of spindles for my forks, does anybody know if anyone is selling them? If the are available it may save me a lot of time!
I've done a quick google search but nothing has come up yet.
Hi Guys - '55 ES2. Whilst removing the cylinder 2 of the studs screwed out. Managed to sort that but as I have to screw them back in with the lock-nut method I'm wary of the fact that I'm screwing into alloy.
The Solent Branch web page is not opening at the moment, I have tried several other Branch web pages and they are opening ok so it doesn't seem to be a problem at my end. Just to advise. Barry.
Hopefully in the correct message category... The Bantam site was very clean and simple. Its basis is also a ten year old product from "Simple : Press" but that product has been kept up to date with current trends and improvements.
Hi Folks
I have been asked to post this by a friend.

I have noticed that the Commando has a cut out in the carburettor spray tube that faces inwards towards the inlet manifold which differs from the 'normal' tube which is the same height all around.

Anyone have any photos of a cam box tunnel repair or any recommendations? I had a look at http://www.norton.uk.com/expert.htm , but can't get the video to play.

I have just removed the head from my Dommy, for a rather overdue overhaul. The valve guides need replacement (no big deal), but the top of the valve stems are worn, and indented.
My 1974 Norton 850 Commando Roadster has a stock front Dunlap rim. The rear oddly is a Jones rim (same size). The Jones rim is in great condition. However, the front Dunlap rim has damage to the chrome platting.
Stripped the clutch in my 350 yesterday. Really confused indeed. Friction plates with inner tags which I think is normal for late clutches BUT tags approx. 8 mm, which I think is pre -56. Cluth drum also splined for 8mm tags.
