The Atlas reg 68,eng no 1252257P has been in the family for 20ish years,Bought in Kent as a rough non runner it came with worn twin concentrics and an older dommy? mag.
Was a rubber bump stop originally fitted to the centre stand on a Dominator 99 ? If so where was it located ?

It may be that you would only look at this if you are going to the AGM but I think everyone should have a read. It is also published in the Roadholder but the more opportunities for members to read and comment the better.
Are reproduction featherbed frames all pretty much the same quality or are some better than others? has anyone experienced any issues with frames from particular manufacturers? Is chromoly a good idea for street use? Thanks in advance.

I have had the belt fail the teeth stripped off. The belt had approximately 7000 miles. Does anyone know if this is the normal life of the belt or have I been unlucky.

Taken the old fork seals off, they appear to be screwed (they are threaded) onto the top of the fork legs. The new seals I have are just a push fit onto the legs, no thread on the inside of seal, will they stay in place.

I am doing something very, very wrong because my air box gets a good lubing when I run the bike with the oil level at the top mark on the dipstick.

Hi all - can anyone explain the difference between a 375/36 and a 375/43 Amal carb please. They’re both listed for the Jubilee with all same size jets etc. /36 for the de-luxe and /43 for the Standard.
What would be the recommended clearance for the engineering shop to work to when re-boring my 750 barrels out to plus .020".
Whilst the ammeter on my 56 Dominator 99 does show a positive charge when the engine is running , I am curious in that it shows a lesser positive charge when the engine is not running.

Bike is 1959 Dommi '99' - at some time it was modified to fit a belt drive. I believe the clutch to be that of a Commando but Norvil say it isn't one of their 'Dommi' kits. RGM say the belt is not their's as it's black in colour.
Suffered it again yesterday on the way to the Pioneer run. Misfire at small throttle opennings that gradually progress into a full cut out.
I love my Nortons as I am sure most who may be reading this love theirs as well - but I am also a Honda fan.
I have watched a few youtube videos of people removing fixed baffles from silencers by using a metal hole saw to detach the central baffle from the exhaust and then pulling it out the back of the exhaust.

Any one know whether a mk2 961 exhaust will fit straight onto a mk1 machine?
Been offered a pair of silencers for my 2011 machine. Just not sure if they will fit.
Just got my head(750 Combat) back from RGM which included new guides, valves and seats re-cut
I have just replaced the kick start spring in my 1957 Dommi 88 (AMC) box. All ready to go and I have MISPLACED, the level plug.
