I’m trying to remove the half time pinion from the timing side of my Domi 99 but it’s so tight on the crankshaft nose that I can’t slide it off.
My 1955 Model 88 main lighting switch gives me parking + instrument light, and headlamp + instrument + tail lamp. Is this correct wiring? If not, how should I rewire the lighting switch?

Hi
Could anyone tell me what the diameter and thread form are of the three long studs that screw into the underside of a Domi 99 cylinder head please?
Hi All,
Following on from some comments made at the AGM, I am thinking of making some 'absolute basics' video's. These would not be professionally done, just a hand held camera or phone. Minimal editing and released via youtube.
Sorry - should have posted in Nortons General. Have a look there.
I see the “racer” is for sale again in this months Classic Motorcycle!
Due to a gudgeon pin circlip breaking up causing the gudgeon pin to grind a groove in the barrel, which in turn caused metal filings to drop into the crankcase and circulate the engine, I am rebuilding my Dommi.
Can anybody tell me the correct length of the rear shocks for my '61 ES2 rebuild?
If so, please specify what the dimension is - shock extended, hole center to hole center, etc.
Those that came off certainly aren't original.
Hi,
My timing cover has a large steel plug low down on the outside - I think it’s for the filter related to the oil pressure relief valve.

I've been advised by a reputable motorcycle mechanic with a proven track record to ditch the Camshaft Breather during the rebuild. Is this a good idea ? What will it achieve ? Will it solve a problem or cause a problem ?
There was a recent thread about who was going to the Colombres (N.Spain) Rally at the end of September. Being at the Stafford Show on Sunday I now realise there are two rallies going on in that area, and at almost the same time.

I bought my first antique car, a 1968 MG Midget. It's a fun little toy with very few problems and no serious ones yet.
Hi all, does anyone know if there is a "Off the shelf" brake cable, with switch, available for the Dominator? Probably quite a simple d.i.y job, but, why bother if there is one already on the market.
I am renovating a 1964 Navigator and I would like to share this easy way of removing rust so far I have used Electrolysis to de-rust the inside of the petrol tank with good results and the following is before and after of the seat pan.

Can anyone tell me the thread size of the handlebar clamping Allen bolts. Having measured them as near as I can they seem to be 5/16th dia 20 tpi but that does not appear to correspond with any standard thread size that I can find.
