which type to choose?  and whitch turn?clockwise or anticlockwise?

Hi all - Can anyone confirm the internal thread size for the Rocker spindles - near as I can tell it seems to be 5/16 UNF 1972 manufacture 750 combat cylinder head . I need to make an extractor - Thanks for any help

Anyone used a non-original starter on an Electra?  Are there any known sources for replacements?

I am considering fitting a full flow oil filter to my 1956 Dominator 99. Any advice as to which type and are there any associated fitting problems ? I note that there are kits available for the Commando.

I am having issues with the monobloc carb on my 1959 99 whereby she will only run with some choke on and has no power going up hill. I have cleaned all of the jets, raised the needle and adjusted the air screw, all to no effect.

Does anyone know the weight of a std original Atlas piston?

Yesterday I had the opportunity to compare the starting effort of my 1956 Dominator 99 with my friends 1955 Dominator 88. The 88 which has a newly built engine started easily with just a gentle  to firm ‘ prod ‘.

Looked at every illustration that I can lay my hands on and can't establish what I need. Can someone please give me some information about the gap between the end of the gearbox mainshaft and the back of the clutch drive sprocket.

What's the best blast media for removing the old paint from my Jubilee enclosures.

I have never had this done,I quite like the used oily look. Son want's to tart up the scruffy Atlas and we are thinking of getting the head done and barrel stripped for painting.

I am thinking of getting an alloy clutch basket and oil-proof belt.

I have some used fibre friction plates in superficially good condition albeit a little oily. 

Any recommendations for a decent quality petrol tap for my Dominator 99 ?

We managed a dozen last year at the locals branch of NOC annual bash , so mark it in your diary & pop along for old & news in the same place , let’s see if we can manage some dominators this year 

Hi I have been let down by my first choice of repair outfit. Apparently my bike is "too much hassle".

The Atlas reg 68,eng no 1252257P has been in the family for 20ish years,Bought in Kent as a rough non runner it came with worn twin concentrics and an older dommy? mag.

Was a rubber bump stop originally fitted to the centre stand on a Dominator 99 ?  If so where was  it located ?

It may be that you would only look at this if you are going to the AGM but I think everyone should have a read. It is also published in the Roadholder but the more opportunities for members to read and comment the better.

Are reproduction featherbed frames all pretty much the same quality or are some better than others? has anyone experienced any issues with frames from particular manufacturers? Is chromoly a good idea for street use? Thanks in advance.

Hi, New to the forum, I have bought a 99 Norton dominator engine and would like help rebuilding it.

I've booked a trip to see the North West 200 this year and my understanding is that the last race day is Saturday. My flight home is booked for Monday because I was afraid weather could delay Saturday's racing until Sunday.
