Esta válvula antirretorno de mi h16, estaba soldada con estaño a la salida del depósito de aceite . ¿Así eran  las originales? ( Debí quitarla por que no sellaba más el paso de aceite) 

I have just been given 12 litres of Yamalube 10-40 fully sinthetic oil. for 4 strokes . What on earth can I do with that  ?. Not really suitable for our old clunkers. Paint it on the fence?.

When I open the spares list the boxes showing the items disappear of the right hand side of the screen on my mobile (Samsung late model). Not vital but I wonder if it might be changed?

Does anyone know why the plungers on the Inter / Manx models have a slightly different angle to those on the ES2 / Model 7 etc? I see from the parts books that all the actual components are identical (at least have the same part numbers).

Desperately want to start re building my 56 Dommie but I have concerns about gear selection in the laydown box. The selector works smoothly and makes all the right noises but I only seem to have the choice of,in gear or neutral.

I need to dismantle the dry sump pump on my  engine to replace the reciprocating plunger knob (part  number 4224) from the pump hollow sleeve (part no 4222).

I am talking with an outfit which is very  interested in manufacturing authentic Model 7 mudguards.I have no financial interest in this it's just that I would like to have authentic mudguards that are cosmetically correct for my own 1950 Model 7. 

I've discovered that if I pull the clutch lever in about half its travel with the box in neutral, turning the back wheel also tries to  turn the clutch body as if the box was in gear (but slipping if you see what I mean).

Putting order together - have parts list/ manual but not clear on drawings - do I need 3 thick and 3 thin rubbers for rear wheel ?

I have had Nortons for over 50 years but never managed to find a grease gun that fits the nipples on a Dommy. Its time I solved that issue. What am I missing?.

Can the ATD unit be removed from the rear of the magneto without disturbing the timing gear which is mounted directly behind it ? Will slackening off the central hex head bolt enable the ATD only to be removed ?

This is the first time I have worked on a commando engine and just needed to replace the gasket to stop a leak from the timing cover.

I understand that this was quite common, but, I can't seem to find a post by anyone who has done it.  Would there be a need to change ignition, valve timing, or carburettor settings?

drive pinion - it's 23 tooth, 1 7/16" diameter, 9/16" wide

the three mounting nuts, a sort of extended cheese-head. 

Does anyone know what the thread is on the three mounting studs?

The good book states: "the races are a push fit in the frame and my readily be knocked out". Yeah right!  Mine appear to be a very interference fit. I've removed the grease nipples and tried to drift them out with a small bolt through the hole.
