Hi, I am thinking about upgrading the front brake on my 73 850 Roadster using the RGM  Lockheed racing caliper kit.

Almost the last job before finally being able to start the build up of what was a sad, butchered Mk3 wreck (approx. 60% had to be replaced or was incorrect/not present) is to refurbish the fork yokes.

I'm rebuilding a 99 600cc (SS?) and just taken the barrels off. 

You can see the damage in the attached photos.

The pistons are stamped +020 so it's had one rebore.  From the cylinder scoring it needs another.

looking for somewhere I can get hold of a trip reset knob for my 1973 750 commando. fits from underneath and not the side. does any one know if they are the same as the side type, wondering if I could buy one and somehow lengthen it..

Can anybody advise the correct length for an Atlas exhaust valve? I believe they are the same as the Dominator as the parts list indicates.

This morning I pulled the crankshaft apart on my barn find Domi 99. In a previous post I mentioned that a large chunk of the drive side oil seal support face in the left-hand crankcase was missing.

On my 1964 Atlas with boyer ignition and regulator/rectifier + new battery, with the engine running the ammeter shows no charge.

Anyone know the part number and a source for a set of Electra rear chain adjusters?

I am rebuilding a 1961 ES2 and the two speedos which came with the parcel of parts are:

1. Smiths Green Circle 150 mph(!) SSM 3001/02 1000

2. Smiths Grey Circular center 150 mph(!) SSM (5001/06 1000)?

Hi I have obtained a NOS Hepolite 71 MM +.040" piston Cr 7.25 TO 1 

My cylinder is off for to have a cylinder liner fitted   and the machinist wants to know what size the bore is to be finished to ? Can anyone please advise ?

You don't see one advertised for years then three pop up at once, John Player Norton's that is.  What's surprising me is that they don't appear to be attracting any buyers.

Just for historical accuracy does anyone know what was in the toolkit sited under the seat, got the tool tray but no tools!

I have a Norvil head steady fitted to my 750. I keep getting told that this is possibly the reason for some hi frequency vibration. I am not a knee down scratcher so prefer smoothness over rigidity.

My 750 seems to rev much higher than my previous bikes. 60 mph is about 5500 rpm.It almost feels like I need to change into 5th I have a 19 tooth sprocket and a Norvil belt drive. 

- What is the standard tooth number for 72 759?
