My 1972 Combat sat in the garage for about 9 months without so much as a second look from me (I know, tragic). Anyway, last weekend I dusted her down, drained the oil from the sump etc and she fired up fourth kick.

Gasket sealant?

I have my 71 Norton engine back in the frame and am about to start replacing covers. Most of these have waxed paper gaskets; when rebuilding car engines I used to smear these with Hematite red or hylomar blue gasket sealant.

Norton Model 7 silencer

I'm looking for a pair of original Norton Model 7 silencer and exhaust pipe. Can anyone help me on this? sorry I've choosed this section since I'm getting too many spam messages after advertised in classified section.

I advertised in classified wanted section for a pair of dominator crankcases. Instead of getting crankcases, I'm receiving many spam messages!! This people are so cunning and always looking for thier preys in any means.

JC Commando pistons

Hi Folks.

Anybody had any experiance with the new Hepolite pistons made by JC in Tiawan. I'm sure they will be fine but just because they have Hepolite on whats the quality like?

1948 ES2 dyno

Evening all,

My ES2 is missing it's Dyno. Thankfully the Mag is present. I've been told that having the numbers off the number plate of a Dyno will help in finding a suitable replacement.

hi all

can anybody tell me what .manx specification,would mean and what parts would have been different on a1936 350 40 international.as the word manx didnt get used on nortons until 1945-6 ,i think.

Chain 'oiler'

I am after the adjustable chain oiler as shown in the picture here. I will probably block it right off and spray the chain as I normally would on my other bike.
