Finally at the point where I am ready to fire up my 1934 Inter. However, whilst turning the engine over there's a metallic 'clunk' coming from the engine. Closer inspectionand I think we know what it is.

I remember when I first started riding Nortons, (Circa 1964) that there was a rumour that Norton had started to develop a four cylinder 500cc racing bike to compete with the Italian Gileras and MVs.

I hope this information will not be required! However, I have a 3 bike trailer, and will be attending the rally on route back to the UK. Should anyone have the misfortune to experience a major breakdown, I could tow their bike back to Kent.

Hi Jubilee/Navigator gurus! Have just collected a number of boxes of bits that should be a Navigator - does appear on inspection they're mostly Jubilee but cannot define what the original bike was!!

I find it important to share with you my very unpleasant experience with a 2010 Norton Commando 961 Cafe Racer.

As you may know, these models are protoypes that should not have been sold to customers.

I suppose many will have seen this model that is still up sale. Personally I think it is far from new looking at the pictures and being advertised as '74. Also, no mention of any provenance to support the claim.

Hi guys, I'm filling out forms for dvla, trying to register my Mercury, I've done the noc forms, photo's, frame and engine numbers but i'm stuck on the dvla form V55/5 its asking for a type approval number for the bike I,ve no idea what this is ?
