Anybody parking an IP 2 or Classic up for any length of time, drain fuel tank down or remove fuel pipe from fuel vacumn tap. It has been known for the tap to go faulty and fill the engine with petrol and damaging the engine.

16H reserve fuel tap

Can anyone offer some wisdom?I have recently fitted a reserve fuel tap to my WD 16H. When I got the bike the reserve tap hole just had a blanking plug, so once the tank fell below half full the fuel in that side couldn't be used.

Club voting/elections

Here we go again. Disappointed to see the Oxford branch motion was not carried at the AGM. I couldn't make the meeting along with the other 97.8% (approx.) of club membership.

Message order

Just out of curiosity, most (or all?) of the message sections list the messages in date order of the last message. However this does not happen for the 'electrical' messages. Why? Oram I doing something wrong?
