Anybody parking an IP 2 or Classic up for any length of time, drain fuel tank down or remove fuel pipe from fuel vacumn tap. It has been known for the tap to go faulty and fill the engine with petrol and damaging the engine.
Denis.

I've just bought a commando and the headlight is awful. It looks like a halogen bulb has been fitted to a non halogen unit which means there is no dip or main beam. Just a change in intensity.
Does anybody know why Norton loaned out bikes then took them back to sell on?

I made this recently from scrap 14mm square bar and it works very well. This design gives a more equal turning force on the nut. The handle is approx 18'' long.

Has anyone any experience of making (or maintaining) copper fuel lines on the older machine?

Hi all, I have recently aquired a 1961 40M Manx which has been stored indoors for over 10 years after I believe, a comprehensive rebuild. The work was done by Sandy Topen ...
Here we go again. Disappointed to see the Oxford branch motion was not carried at the AGM. I couldn't make the meeting along with the other 97.8% (approx.) of club membership.
There appears to be a 'hens teeth' situation arising with regard to Model 99 pushrods. The NOC Spares Scheme have agreed to investigate the possibility of getting some manufactured to original specs but need the part numbers.
Just out of curiosity, most (or all?) of the message sections list the messages in date order of the last message. However this does not happen for the 'electrical' messages. Why? Oram I doing something wrong?
