Hi is it normal for oil to appear on top of the head nuts when eng is running. I am having a lot of problems trying to stop oil leaks on the right head and have oil coming out between fins and running down barrel.

what yorks will fit a wideline featherbed frame will any of the commandos fit can any one help please

I am rescuscitating a 1936 Model 18 which hasn't run for a few years. It had a tidy up in the early eighties, but this didn't include the engine or gearbox which I doubt has ever been out up to this point and are substantially worn.

I want to replace the rusty old studs and nuts for cosmetic reasons, but they are only available in stainless AFAIK.

Since I wasa boyI have admired the Commando and last November I finally picked up a 1971 LR fastback...rough but running nicely. In March I did a mini rebuild and after a little problem with the pinch bolt fork leg got it MOT'd last weekend.

Hi I have a 72 Commando Interstate which is fitted with an after market seat which is amazingly hard. Because of the foot peg position coupled with a hard flat seat i find myself becoming the pillion each and every time i pull away.

I have an old 71 roadster just trying to get it up and runing, it has developed a big leak from the rear side of the primary chaincase.

Would anyone have for sale, or know of, a good vertical shaft top bevel gear, with no wear on the shaft surface (where it runs in the bronze bush).

RMC22L (roller bearing)

UMC22 ( double row bearing) or

MC22 ( ball bearing)

Hi. a new boy so please give me some slack. Just got myself a 72 750 Commando and have sorted most of the initial issues but I have the infamous leak from the tacho drive.

The spare parts list shows part no. E2/492, a washer T1 , Front chain case, inner portion crankcase washer.I have assembled the chain case and drive without the washer!

My clutch has been dragging badly when when its been running for aver 10 miles or so.
