I suppose many will have seen this model that is still up sale. Personally I think it is far from new looking at the pictures and being advertised as '74. Also, no mention of any provenance to support the claim. Sadly, looks like someone will part with a large sum of money for it.

It is genuine. There were 8 brand new still in the crate 850 mk3s found in a Belgium dealers workshop after he died. I have seen photos of them in their NVT cardboard packing. There was also a couple of Harris Matchless's as well.
How tempting would it be to put oil and petrol in it and start it up? But then it just becomes another used Commando.
