I'm a new owner with a 1954 Norton big 4 with a swing arm suspension. I am going to be learning about the bike and Nortons in general for a ling time I see. My question today is this. My bike had only the left knee pad when I purchased it. It had 2 holes drilled in the rubber for a screwdriver to fit it to the tank. It looks like they pop on to the mushroomed screw heads and do not go all the way through the pad.They do not look like they were put there when the pads were molded. Did Norton make 3 type of pads?? One with one hole, one with 2 holes and one with 2 blind holes(that do not go all the way through). Thank you for any and all help. Alone here in Minnesota USA
