Cant select neutral
Recently bought a Cammando that has been restored but not used for the last 10 years. I find that with the engine running I can only select neutral coming down from 2nd and only when on the move.

Hi, Has any one ever re-lined a damaged set of barrels. I have a blown engine (conrod gone!) I bought it like that... a piece of the skirt is missing & I am wondering should I cut them off and just put liners in.

I just got my Girling rear shocks repainted, and bought some new bolts, nuts and bushes from Norvil. My old bushes had turned into sticky rubber gunge.

Hi, I have a 1960 Dommi 99 with a PSR8 Ignition/Lighting switch. On returning from a run this morning I had lost the screw which holds and works the lighting knob thingy!
Having had issues with cold and hot starting on my 650SS a couple of years ago (in fact virtually ever since I have owned it),I had the magneto rebuilt by a well-known mag man. Upon re-fitting, it started perfectly 1st kick- result!
A head I got off ebay to replace the duff one that came with the bike has large exhaust valves and small inlet I have gone through all my documentaison but could not find any reference to a head with big exhaust valves the diameter of the hole is
I am rebuilding a Dommie 88 with dural? conrods which had what looks like aluminium (dural?) big end nuts. I have bought new nuts from NOC which are the same thread but a much smaller nut and hex size. Also, they appear to be a steel material.
I have a '59 wideline featherbed frame on an 88,The top rails of the frame under the seat truncate just after the top of the shocks.

I have a question about poly grey. I painted my early 56 dominator in Ford Granada Pearl grey met about 15 years ago and its a silvery grey that looked correct but I had no worthwhile original paint to compare.
What's the accepted wisdom on the use of Molyslip in 1950s single and twins?
Used to use it in my car engines way back when but never in my bike engine.
I have sold the roadster tank to a gentleman from the NOC.
I still have two genuine steel interstate tanks for sale, on which I have now reduced the price below that of the indian tanks on ebay.

When I purchased my Commando MK3 it had already been dismantled. The forks were together but not attached to the frame. I have dismantled the forks and cleaned everything and have new bushes and seals.

Hi, I have just been reading some interesting comments regarding curing leaking primary cases by emptying the stock oil and just lubricating the chain with a modern chain lube, this would seem to be a great idea if it works ok, has enyone tried it
Greeting to all Commando lovers. I have owned this Roadster for 17 odd years now and fancying a change, bought most of the required parts to convert to a Fastback.
It appears impossible to identify the kickstart shaft on my bike - the overall length is 122mm and so far I have been supplied three different shafts and none will fit - either too long or too short!! I cannot finish the bike without a new shaft.
