Girders

Hi David The problem I have is I don't have any girders. To make it worse I need two sets ! one set for a 1932 CJ and a set for a 1932 inter. My inter has Roadholders on at present I've come across a set for the CJ but the bloke wants ,wait for it £ 1,150. It's not a miss type. It's a complete set but a lot of money.

so thinking about it!

thanks for the reply and help. Ian

Back in the '30's it looks like a pair of forks complete was £6/7/6.If beer was maybe 4d/pint, that's about 380 pints of beer. His £1150 will only buy about 250 pints of beer in a London pub.If they are good, it looks like they are a bargain!Best regardsDavid

Thanks Ron

Ive bought the girders .they are 1934 and onwards I think. They've got the holes for head lamp brackets . I'm getting them on Sunday at Banbury and will check what numbers are on them.

cheers Ian
