1935 Norton ES2 bearings

Forums

Hi guys just split the crankcases on my project to find lots of collapsed ball bearings in the sludge trap, also on the timing side bearing i have damage to the casing. Can prob get casing welded and machined ok but would like to replace all the main bearings the single and double on drive side and the single on the timing side, my question does anybody have an up to date bearing reference number for these so i can order some ? Many thanks Clive

Greetings,

Not wishing to hijack this post, but has anyone got the correct bearing reference numbers / for later bottom ends? Specifically for a 1961 Model 50, but ES-2 may be the same?

Thought there maybe two types one type X 2 Type Y?

Any preferred manufacturer?

Answers on a post card please ...

Thanks Steve (South Australia)
