Commando insurance.

Who do you guys recommend for insurance for a 73 Commando? I'm with Carole Nash just now having swapped cover from my Indian Chieftain to my Commando, but can't help feeling they're not the best value for money. Cheers.

Commando 220507

Forums

Hi, do any of our American members remember owning 1973 750 Norton Commando engine no. 220507? if so, if you can let me know any history or stories associated with this bike I'd be delighted.

Eternal Thanks

I feel it prudent to send thanks to the NOC for their assistance, and many spares, in helping me rebuild my 1957 Dominator 99 over the last three years after 49 years stored in various boxes.

old friends

I had the great pleasure of meeting up with an old buddy from about thirty years ago thanks to my joining the NOC again. I visited Gordon a few Sundays ago and was delighted to find out he was still immersed in old bikes.

Kempton today

Forums

Anyone go today? There was lots of Norton stuff, I picked up what looks like a very reasonable nicely reconditioned lay down box which I need for my 55 ES2, which frees up the  AMC box for my Metisse project.

Fitting Jubilee forks

Forums

The manual says to have a little patience fitting the forks, no kidding! I’ve lost count of how many balls I’ve picked up!  I’m going to try it with the front member off the bike, failing that has anyone found any tapered bearings that fit?
