Hi,
I wonder if someone could tell what Transfers would be correct for my 99 Wideline. I've searched online here and looked at various photos but can't find what I need.
Hi ,is the intermediate timing gear for my recently acquired 1960 500 Domi specific to the 500 or interchangeable with the 600 and any other models ? Reason for asking I have a chipped tooth on the gear behind the cam chain sprocket, serious ?
I have removed the though bolt on the rear isolastic and have noticed one end has more thread than the other. Anybody know which thread to which side as i didnt notice when removing the bolt.

I already own a Norton model 18 (year 1936) and I woulld like to try getting more information about it.
After a lifetime of 'battery conservation', I now find having gone all LED, that event with all lights blazing, I am over charging. What is the best fix for this? Can I not connect one of the alternator output wires?
Hello All
I have a '57 ES2 and just changed the fork oil, when I removed the top cap nuts that thread into the stanctions one of the caps was quite tight, closer examination revealed some galling/damage to the stanchion internal thread.

I've been looking for a rotary for ages and was just about to put a wanted ad in the club's classifieds pages, when this ebay ad popped up claiming to have an ex-factory test bike for sale, at what looks like a very reasonable price.
Please, can someone post a close-up which shows the fastening of the slimline seat with the dzus?Fritz
Hi, I'm restoring a 1938 Model 50 and need some advice on sourcing parts. Most urgent is a full engine gasket set and a set of push rod covers. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Many thanks
David
Does anyone out there know a supplier of the above piece for a 49 es2 , catalogue number C3/713 M.40 in the spare parts book. I have tried a couple of leads but all have proved fruitless, I fear I may die of old age before getting any joy!
Me again!! Does anyone have a set of engine plates for a 1938 Model 50? I'm really desperate for these as I can't seem to source any. If no one can help with having a spare set could there be a set I can borrow as templates?

On a recent trip - two up - I encountered a of of traffic jams, particularly on uphill stretches. When I got to my destination I noticed a couple of inches free play on the clutch ever.
Hi All,
I have a 1929 model 19 that was restored by the previous owner but it sized 2 times and I purchased knowing that I would strip down and rebuild from scratch.
I know this is a long shot,
I am restoring a 57â 19S
There is a nasty repair to a frame tube just above the brake pedal pivot, and the pivot casting is also damaged
After the ethanol debate I've just had a quick look at eBay and there are some good looking fastback and roadster tanks from India for £299 plus £60 p&p pressure tested etc.
Did the slimline Dommie seat change between 1960 and 1963?
Hi there - bought my first Norton in 1978 when I was 19 - 1974 850 Mk 2A Registration PRG 482M.
A small lesson learned today. If you fit a tacho to a plate held on top of the fork by the large fork nut, do not do as I did and put it on the left.
When fitting new chrome panels to my tank would it be best to glue the rubber strip to the panels before adjusting them to fit the shape of the tank?
I'm looking for a 650ss and am seeking some advice.

b) are there issues with the twin carbs
c) any other pitfalls to be aware of

Here is where you can buy one and others available on Ebay too:
