Hope this helps. Will post another couple of pics separately because of file size.

Hopefully one of the usual suppliers will have the correct parts. They were made in a variety of length's and should come with spring and circlip . Aircraft used them to secure access panels so that may give another source . There were lots of different types ,Finding the correct ones for the DL sidepanels was a problem. I don't think they are still in production.

I have them ordered a two years ago from AN. Part #67830 Dzus Fastener NM23625 & NM22470 Dzus Fastener S-Clip.
I hope those are the correct items
I'll have a look when I have the bike in my workshop, now that I know how it should look.

I don't know yet, but I need to find out. I am getting my 1963 650SS on the road after 45 years in various sheds.
I am in Chelmsford, Essex. Is there anyone local who has a Slimline Featherbed that I can have a look at? I want to see what the mountings are for the seat, oil tank and battery box. No doubt there will be other features that I need to check.
When I bought the bike it had been vandalised into a Dunstall clone, very fashionable at the time, so all the tin ware was missing and replaced by pseudo racing stuff.
Local means anywhere closer than Birmingham, I suppose. I have listed all the bits of rubber and threaded fasteners from the parts list. Andover can supply about half, quite good really since most of their stock is Commandos. I have ordered what they have. I am waiting for a response from the NOC spares and Staffordshire. Amusingly, I called Russell Motors in Battersea. They referred me to Fair Spares!
