Please ignore my earlier message.
As I want to speed up the finalisation of my 88 project, I decided to order a new Mini Manx tank from TA Baker.
I have a Commando 850 mkIII which I am restoring. I want to keep it original as possible but want electronic ignition. I have used boyer on the past but that was a long time ago now.

Hi all,
Sometimes come in a discussion how replica parts fits as replacement in our old bikes.
Among many considerations, two are of importance: Quality and if it fits correctly.
An odd query that hopefully someone might have an answer for.
The slimline ES2 I have left Nortons in a batch headed for the RAC and was registered in March 1962 in the Inverness area. Obviously it got knitted out with the RAC sidecar.
Hello,
I am building a 16h engine (1937), the engine arrived in a box. The cams, etc do not have timing marks. Does anybody have details of how you set the timing?
I'm trying to identify the type of oil in my 750 racer.
It was last changed by my late father approximately 5 years ago. He owned the bike from late '60s and raced it competitively, then in vintage events.
I'm fettling a 1960 88 for a friend. Most of what I've seen so far has given me a very poor impression of the previous owner's mechanic's skills and I'm wondering how far to go in stripping and rebuilding the bike properly for peace of mind.
can pre war rigid 16H primary cases, reproduced in India, be fitted to a 1936 CS1 inter. Have no end of trouble even finding someone with cases to compare with
I am refurbishing the clutch on my 1959 Model 50. Although I can buy new friction plats with the friction pads in situ, does anyone sell just the pads for insertion in the existing Chain Wheel/Clutch Basket !
All input welocme.
I have this tank on my Dominator 88, the frame is wideline 1962 with a 1955 500 twin engine. The tank has two holes for fixing ? knee pads I presume but the holes don't match any that are on the market from the usual suppliers.
Hi, just a general question about which exhaust silencers should be fitted to a 1960 vintage 99.
Recently acquired ES2 enigine, think 1960 but in any case the distributor version, has two mods from previous owners.
Having failed to find similar in manuals, photos etc your help is needed.

Funny thing today. Opened the tap I usually consider the reserve.. and fuel leaked profusely from the othet. It seems the bottom seal doesn't. But when I open this one it's fine!
Hi,
can anyone shine some light on the numbers on my 16h engine?
The letters AS are stamped with the numbers horizontally stamped beneath 20131.
Just got back from the Motor cycle live show at the NEC and the Norton stand was buzzing with people with Stuart Garner and team answering questions on the new Norton V.4. What a stunning bike and the finish and detail is superb.
I have just stripped the forks on my Navigator. These are normal Roadholders. The springs both have a marking at the ends with green paint.
Hello everyone, I'm new around here and I'm looking for some advice about my Norton.
Here I am again!! I have searched everywhere that I know to try and locate new bushes for the quadrant & camplate on my dolls head gearbox & drawn a complete blank.
Hi I have spoken to Dynojet UK a the NEC show and today I received an email that they are considering developing something for the 961 range. They may need a bike in the Lancashire area to look at etc.
