the monoblock that came with my box of bits jubilee was off a C15 and knackered so I bought a concentric from surrey cycles, they estimated what the getting should be.

My 40M was dispatched from factory 24/3 1959 to Bob Keeler.
In late -61 or early -62 it was sold by Geoff Tanner to Swedish rider Jackie Lindh. After that it's history is known. Anybody have a clue of what it did in the UK?

In case you haven't seen it before : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=82iVMONcwss. If only I had one in the basement!

One of the two Fwd tank attachment stud holes requires Helicoil repair.

My 1962 "99" has a slight oil leak on the cylinder head above the head-barrel joint, so it's not likely that the leak is not coming from the head-barrel joint. There is no signs of it appearing from the rocker box.

Hi, I have purchased some mudguard stays for my Atlas which is being returned to a full mudguard after many years of a skinny fibreglass one so I don't have original parts with which to compare.
Last week a friend of mine bought a rather tatty 1960 wideline chassis with Manx engine in it. He only bought it for the engine so to cut a long story short, I made him an offer and now have a 1960 Model 50 rolling chassis sitting in the garrage.
I have been very lucky to have inherited my late Godfatherâs 1957, Model 30 Norton International, however I would really like to learn all about the Nortonâs History.

Hi all,
Attached a picture which shows a protrusion of the piston at TDC. This because the cylinder had a sleeve too wide, making the lower cylinder wall nearly dissapearing.
