My bike has a seven digit number squeezed onto a 6 digit plate, the first number and the "A" hang over the edge of the plate!

My new Amal concentric carb, bought to replace the TT carb on my 1959 Inter, seems to reach to the underneath of the tank even before I've fitted the cables. Is there such a part as a right-angled adaptor for the throttle and choke cables?

Last weekend, a strange noise occurred when I closed the throttle of my Model 50. It was a strange whining/rubbing noise. Like something was spinning on an axle or grinding against something.

Hello, have Norton gearbox in N15CS
Took off the outer cover to get chrome plating striped
I have not disturbed the inner cover
Took out the Knuckle Pin from the Change Quadrant, no problem
Royal Enfield Bullet alternators look very like the unencapsulated Lucas ones on Nortons. Would one fit? They are cheap and certainly effective - the one on my 1998 Bullet works a treat.
