I've been working on the clutch of my Navigator, its in resonable shape, I'm going to replace the rollers in the clutch centre.
I see Ace Cafe is trying to attract customers on Sunday 12 Feb with a "Singles Day". It's bound to attract mostly modern stuff, but perhaps of interest to Norton Singles owners to show the flag on a chilly day?
Hi all,
I am building a Triton with a slimline featherbed frame which has no number on it. Does anyone know how this might have come about ? Are the DVLA likely to issue a registration document and what is the best way forward?
Just wondering whether anyone on the forum with a petrochemical background might know if there is a product available that could substitute for petrol when checking fuel injector flow and spray pattern?
Hi All
I have a 1960 dominator 99 and can not find an adequate petrol tap with a reserve faculty.
My tank underneath has a downward facing tap fitment which is about an inch and a half in length.
Hi,
Anyone know if there is a recommended torque for the three 18233 sleeve nuts (06.7703) on the Dominator 88? I think the early Commando ones (06.0323) had a torque of 40 lb ft. but they are a different thread.
We are very keen to attend the swedish rally and have booked two places.
I want to replace the very weak centre stand spring and the attachment shows the latest version that I ordered from NOC ( plus for information the smaller spring is for models prior to '73 ) As can be seen the new replacement is too long.
Hi all, I thought someone would have passed a comment about the spring from a couple of days ago?
Cheers
Paul

Can anyone (definitively) confirm where the upper tab on the mk3 airbox should be fixed? Should it be in front of the plate on the frame or behind? I have tried both over the years.
My 99 forks have been in action for at least 25 years since I last gave them any attention apart from oil changes. They appear to operate normally but have always crashed a bit at the extremes of travel.

Hi all, having removed my prv to clean/check things, I found the piston partially seized shut in the bore, stripped it down, all seems ok just a bit of crap, however, when reassembling have found there's no preload on the spring, spring measures 1
Advice please.
I've got an 850 Mk2 Commando with an RGM 12" disc, grimeca caliper, braided hose and japanese master cylinder. Braking is pretty good, and I'm not looking to improve the front brake any further.
1972 Commando Combat. Crankcase Timing side bottom, there's a 5/16 grub screw that screws up into the case described as a Oilway plug.
Can anyone enlighten me on it's purpose why its there if it's plugged?
Thought I'd pay tribute to these guys on my '72 JPN replica.
Having fitted + 0.040 pistons to my 850 commando, I had to remove barrels after 500 miles to cure an oil leak.

The entry form arrived via email and I completed it for myself and the wife (we have a joint membership).
Quick Question, In the Singes Compendium (P154) it talks of TTC and TTN tanks; C being Chrome and N being Dull Nickel.
It also talks of MTTN
