Does anyone have a spare auto advance/retard unit for a Lucas K2F for a Domi 88/1957?
I've have the frame stripped in preparation for painting and have a question... In the front of the steering head are two 1/4" BSF screws that don't appear to do anything other than block up the tapped holes.

I have finally fitted the correct plunger type switch and it works, but:
I had a feeling the autoadvance unit was sticking on the Domminator's magneto. It kicked back a few times if the starting kick was a bit half hearted.

Hello all, following-on from John Ward's forum thread regarding colours and paints for Norton machines, I am trying to update and recompile the colour chart/lists etc. for as many Norton machines as possible.
My 1947 Manx 350 engine is supposed to run a BTH KD1 Mag, but is fitted with a Lucas Magdyno. Obviously, in my quest to retore this machine to some semblance of originality I am looking for a KD1 Magneto to replace it.
My 650SS project came with a matching numbers crankcase and a complete 'donor' engine. I was told that the engine had been "tuned for racing" and having taken it apart, it's certainly had some modification made to it.
