fitting Superblend bearings

I have been viewing Mick Hemmings video on engine rebuilds, in particular the section on fitting new bearings. He takes a Superblend in his hand and mentions the numbers on the bearing.

My question is: when pressing  the  bearing in the crankcase, should the numbers side be  visible   or be  hidden against the crankcase? and while the rotating piece is pressed on the crankshaft, its numbers side goes against the crankshaft.

Or should numbered sides be going in the same direction?

There is only one way to fit the inner piece on the crankshaft,, but does this  matter for the outer part of the bearing, with numbers facing the crankcase or the crankshaft?

Many thanks for your advice

As an aside, I did the old "put the outer races in the freezer overnight" wrinkle. It was only some time later, looking at Mick's DVD again, that I realised it was best practice to keep the superblends "as shipped", and not mix up the component parts.

Ah well, next time eh!
